What is it: An advanced wash for the face and body, designed to attack existing acne blemishes and help prevent new blemishes from forming. Why is it different: The creamy, foaming wash for the face and body is formulated with salicylic acid, a proven treatment for acne blemishes, as well as a light menthol scent. I’ve been using Proactiv for about 10 years. I prefer the deep cleansing wash for my face (… and my shoulders) to the cleansing solution. I’ve used the cleansing wash for about 9 months, now, and follow it with the repairing lotion on my face. I guess because I’m a bit older now, the extra exfoliation from the deep cleansing wash really helps my facial skin to appear brighter and more youthful. Strangers literally stop me on the street to tell me how beautiful my skin is and to ask what I use. When I tell them that I have ACTIVE acne, they are dumbfounded. With consistent treatment over the years, I no longer have breakouts, nor the dark marks breakouts leave in their aftermath!
