VIVA PAPER TOWELS aren’t the paper towels they were even five years go. Kimberly-Clark has steadily degraded the quality substantially (but not the price, natch) over the last several years. These towels used to be so plush and soft, they felt like t-shirt material. The latest batch I purchased, which is noticeably different from the previous one, actually feels like sandpaper. Very fine sandpaper, but sandpaper nonetheless. Also, they used to be so strong. Now, I literally cannot tear one off the roll without ripping it up unless I use both hands, hold the roll, and tear very carefully.

The worst part? They’ve become virtually useless. I used to be able to use them to dry dishes. Now they just move the water around. They’re barely absorbent.

I used to think VIVA PAPER TOWELS were THE premium paper towel on the market. Now, I honestly wouldn’t buy them if they were the only paper towel available. They are that inferior. Another quality Kimberly-Clark product bites the dust.
